About Us

Founder’s Reflection

I created these toolkits after years of working in child protection and family support, where time was short and the need for practical, evidence-based tools was constant. I used them myself in frontline practice, and saw how they gave families something tangible to work with, while also helping practitioners gather meaningful evidence.

My aim with BeWise Parenting is to make these resources widely accessible so that more practitioners, and more families, can benefit from them.

Feedback from Practice

  • Parents often said they appreciated that the toolkits did not feel overly formal. Using them created a more relaxed atmosphere and gave them space to work through things at their own pace. Several parents valued being able to see what was coming up in future sessions, as it helped them prepare and reduced their anxiety about taking part.

  • One parent described how the baby cues resources helped them to notice and respond to their child’s signals more confidently. This not only improved their understanding of their baby’s needs, but also strengthened their confidence in their own ability to parent.

  • Another parent explained that using the toolkit to establish a routine made a noticeable difference to their child’s behaviour. Having structure in place helped them feel more in control and created a calmer home environment.

  • Across the families who engaged with these resources, self-reported feedback consistently showed improvements in confidence, skills, and ability to meet their children’s needs.

  • BeWise Parenting toolkits are new to market, but they were shaped and tested through years of frontline practice. While names and details are anonymised, the following reflections capture the experiences of families who engaged with these resources in their original form.
